Kick the Habit

For several years I have made the same New Years Resolution and been unable to keep it.... to drink more water - not after it has been boiled and put into a cup with a bag and some milk - but straight!

Previously when I have cut back on my tea consumption I seem to get headaches.
Why cut back on Rosie Lee? - it isn't expensive, it is sociable, I'm British - it's what we drink!

On holiday this year I went 10 days without a cuppa.

Since being back I have kept down to 4 cups a day (you don't want to know how many I had got up to before)

I know that it takes 6 weeks to form a habit - so appreciate I am not out of the woods yet - but am feeling strong and taking 1 day at a time.

What habit have you thought you could never break?
What discipline did you think you could
never keep up?

  1. Wow! awesome post! Any unsweetened tea is good. But why would you want to give up coffee? It's so yummy, and in moderation, it's just fine for you. In fact, it has antioxidants and essential oils (the oils are only retained when you use a french press, but not in a traditional filtered coffeemaker:) More Here!!!
